Acceptable use policy

Last updated: 25 August 2026 · Applies to tourmarquee.com

This policy is part of our terms of service. It exists so that we never have to argue about what is obvious. If a brief breaks one of these rules we will refuse it, return the credit and explain why.

1. Material you send us

Do not upload anything that:

  • you do not own or do not have written permission to use commercially;
  • shows an identifiable person who has not agreed to appear, including guests, neighbours and staff;
  • shows the inside of a property you do not have the right to advertise;
  • is sexual, violent, hateful, or targets anyone by race, religion, sex, orientation, disability or nationality;
  • contains someone else's watermark, logo or branding;
  • is unlawful in Portugal or in the country where you will publish the video.

2. What you ask us to produce

Do not ask us to produce a video that:

  • misrepresents a property, for example by showing rooms, views, facilities or a location that are not part of what a guest actually books;
  • implies an endorsement, partnership or rating that does not exist, including any suggestion that Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com or any platform is involved with us or with your listing;
  • contains claims you cannot back up, such as an award, a certification or a safety rating;
  • advertises something other than a genuine property or stay;
  • uses a competitor's footage, branding or reviews.

3. How you use the service

Do not:

  • resell our production service as if it were your own, unless we agree in writing;
  • share a workspace link so that people who did not buy the pack can use the credits;
  • attempt to access another customer's workspace, or probe, scan or overload the site;
  • upload malware, or use the upload form for anything other than property photographs;
  • use our name, logo or the videos in a way that suggests we endorse a business or a practice we know nothing about.

4. What happens if a rule is broken

Most of the time we simply ask you to change the brief. Where the problem is serious or repeated, we may refuse the order, close the workspace and, in the cases described in the terms, keep unused credits. Where the law requires it, we report unlawful material to the competent authority.

If you think we have got it wrong, reply to us. A person reads every one of these, and we would rather fix a misunderstanding than lose a customer.

5. Reporting something

If you believe a video we produced infringes your rights or shows your property or your face without permission, write to support@tourmarquee.com with enough detail to identify it. We act on credible reports within five business days.
