Cookie policy

Last updated: 25 August 2026 · Applies to tourmarquee.com

A cookie is a small file a site stores on your device. Local storage does something similar. This page lists what tourmarquee.com uses, and both are covered by the word "cookie" below.

1. The short version

Out of the box we set only what is strictly necessary to run the site and take a payment. Analytics and marketing cookies are off until you switch them on. You can change your mind whenever you like: open cookie settings.

2. What we use

NameTypeSet byLifetimeWhat it does
marquee_consent_v1Local storage, strictly necessaryMarqueeUntil you clear itRemembers the cookie choice you made, so we do not ask again on every page.
Stripe checkout cookiesStrictly necessaryStripeSession to 1 yearSet on the Stripe payment page to keep the session and detect card fraud. Without them a payment cannot be completed.
Analytics (optional)Optional, off by defaultMarqueeUp to 13 monthsCounts page views and where people stop reading, so we know what to fix. Only set if you switch analytics on.
Marketing (optional)Optional, off by defaultAdvertising platformsUp to 13 monthsMeasures which advert brought you here and allows relevant ads elsewhere. Only set if you switch marketing on.

Strictly necessary cookies do not need your consent, because the site cannot work without them. Everything else does, and we ask before setting it.

3. Your workspace link is not a cookie

The private link that opens your workspace is a URL, not a cookie. Deleting cookies does not delete it, and clearing your browser does not lose your credits. Keep the email that contains it.

4. Changing your mind

Use cookie settings at any time, from this page or from the link in the footer. Turning a category off stops anything new being set. You can also delete cookies already stored through your browser settings, usually under privacy or site data.

5. Do Not Track and global signals

We do not track you across other sites, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track header to switch off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an instruction to keep optional categories off.

6. Questions

Write to support@tourmarquee.com. How we handle personal data generally is set out in the privacy policy.
